Cottage Kitchen

Upon meeting with the owners of this cottage home in Mountain Brook, we understood their goal: to create a kitchen where they could marry their love for family entertaining with the joy of being grandparents, as their youngest grandchild bounced up and down in the exersaucer. Two years later, this precious toddler and his two adoring older cousins color at the new banquette in a light-filled kitchen which is tailored to their grandparents as well as to them! By combining the existing kitchen and underused sunroom, as well as reorganizing circulation, the new kitchen and laundry room is truly the heart of this home, with cabinetry and appliances that support ease of use and safety for grandparents and grandkids alike.
