Design Services
Architectural Services
We hear lots of homeowners talking about how they aren’t ready to hire an architect because they don’t know the specifics of what their renovation or addition will look like, or what the size of their new home should actually be. Our Architectural Services are designed to answer those very questions through a design process where we work from big decisions through detailed decisions: we ask lots of questions, offer solutions based on our expertise and analysis, and provide you with a framework for making important decisions so that each phase of the design process builds on our work together from the previous phase.
- Project Definition: Our Project Definition Service is a standalone service intended for clients who want to see what’s possible for their home without diving into extensive design work. This service provides owners with a zoning analysis, space planning exercise and outline notes such that a qualified general contractor might be able to provide preliminary cost information in order to evaluate whether or not to move ahead with the project.
- Full Architecture Services: TPD’s full architectural services provide design guidance and support throughout the design and construction of your project. Whether you are considering a new home or a large addition, we work closely with homeowners from the initial concept design to the final punch list. We have found that these services, outlined more explicitly on our PROCESS page, yield successful projects for our clients, as we work together through decisions about every aspect of the project, from construction type to faucet selection. Once the design process is complete, we work through documentation for the building department and contractor such that the home you have dreamed of is being built according to your expectations. We work closely with General Contractors all the way through construction, meeting regularly to help mitigate questions and concerns as we believe this yields the best results for our clients.
Interior Design Services
Whether you are considering a kitchen refresh or new furniture for the whole house, we can provide services for selection of all finishes, window treatments, furniture, floor coverings, and decorative lighting to complete your home. As TPD Interiors are offered both as standalone services as well as in conjunction with our architectural services, our interior design team works in house with our architects to provide a single source design resource for your project, streamlining the process for our owners.

“So many have commented on how you plotted the house, dealing with the less than ideal size, boundaries, and city regulations. It was a tidy and exquisitely detailed floor plan. The extra input during builder selection and project management were unexpected and valuable.”
