An underutilized dining room served as the inspiration for this owner to consider reconfiguring this classic home. The primary hall on the lower level was relocated to better serve all of the adjoining rooms, and a new storage/butler’s pantry affords new space for entertaining prep and everyday drop off. Adding storage in the hallway, especially with reeded china cabinets, provided drama and utility, and a new entry at the side of the house provides covered access through the new space to the car for ease and convenience.
“Taylor designed a new side entry, butler’s pantry, and powder room for my home, and we love it. She had to work within an existing dining room footprint, kitchen, and carport – and she did it! The cabinets she designed are gorgeous and my whole family loves the update. Everyone says that it looks like it’s always been there, but it feels so much better!”
