Once a narrow galley kitchen and laundry room, this reimagined space at the front of a classic center hall colonial has become both a gracious entry and the heart of family life.

The removal of the laundry allowed for additional storage, a generous island with banquette seating, and a more efficient layout tailored to the owner’s specific needs.

Custom cabinetry conceals small appliances, accommodates dishware, and integrates a charging station for the family’s many devices. The result is a refined, functional gathering place that’s bathed in light and layered with rich color.
